Pipeline Cybersecurity: API-1164v3, a NIST CSF-Based Community Solution for Pipeline Cybersecurity Regulation

American Gas Association (AGA) Managing Director of Security & Operations Kimberly Denbow and Axio Global Co-founder and President David White provide a primer to API standard 1164 version 3, Pipeline Control Systems Cybersecurity. AGA continues to advocate for this standard to be the foundation of pending pipeline cybersecurity regulations. Over three years in the making, this new consensus-based standard is the culmination of input from 50+ companies, 75+ pipeline industry experts, multiple government partners, and 5000+ hours of work. The output is a flexible standard that operationalizes the NIST Cybersecurity Framework for pipeline control systems.
