NEW YORK, NY — September 15, 2026 — Axio, a leader in cyber and AI risk quantification (CRQ), today welcomes three cyber and risk industry leaders as strategic advisors to the company: Edna Conway, Loraine Phillips, and Cody Scott.

The backgrounds and leadership experiences of Edna, Loraine, and Cody align uniquely with Axio’s core value and goal of helping organizations within cyber and risk ecosystems better understand and become resilient in the face of all aspects of cyber and AI risk.  Together they bring perspectives that reinforce Axio’s edge across security leadership, business operations and CRQ expertise.

Edna Conway: As CEO of EMC Advisors, Edna provides strategic counsel to CEOs, boards, and global governments. A Nonresident Scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, she also serves as an appointee to the US Information Security & Privacy Board and chairs U.S. government working groups on cutting edge technology, security, and risk. Her operating executive experience spans serving as Microsoft’s VP, Chief Security & Risk Officer for its intelligent cloud business, Cisco’s Chief Security Officer for its Global Value Chain, a partner in an international private legal practice and Assistant Attorney General for the State of New Hampshire.  A widely recognized authority on innovation, growth, strategy, and relationship-building, she has influenced security frameworks and international standards, U.S. governing bodies and intelligence agencies, NATO, and NASA. Her insights are regularly featured in leading publications, including Forbes, Fortune, Bloomberg, CIO Magazine and the Wall Street Journal and she has been called to address US Presidential Commissions, NATO, the Hague, and the United Nations.

Loraine Phillips is an Independent Board Advisor and Non-Executive Director with more than 35 years of international C-suite, board and senior leadership experience across energy, chemicals and complex global value chains. At ExxonMobil, she held major European and global roles including President, Chemicals Europe and Global Cyber Resiliency Director, leading the development and governance of cyber resilience across the corporation. She subsequently served as COO of a global mid-sized trading and supply business headquartered in Singapore. She has chaired industry councils and made high-stakes board and executive decisions involving complex operational, geopolitical, and digital risks. Today, she advises boards and leadership teams on resilience, digital risk, and transformation.

Cody Scott is Workiva’s Industry Principal for GRC in North America, bringing extensive domain expertise as a practitioner and advisor on GRC technologies, programs, and strategies. Before joining Workiva, Cody served as a Senior Industry Analyst at Forrester, advising Fortune 500 executives and leading global research on GRC, digital risk management, AI governance, and cyber risk quantification. As a practitioner, Cody served as the first Chief Cybersecurity Risk Officer of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).  Prior to the civil service, Cody worked as a consultant supporting enterprise technology programs across NASA, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the Transportation Security Administration.
